Ukiyoe artist, Katsushika Hokusai laid the foundation of Japonisme in many countries around the world. The most famous of all, "South Wind, Clear Sky (Gaifū kaisei)", also known as Red Fuji, from the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, the most famous of his works, is made into a decorative fan.

This is a piece that has been created with many layers and deepened by traditional woodblock printing. 

The vivid and mature colors of the woodblock prints show the beauty of the handiwork.

The fan stand can be used both as a stand and a wall hanging. The decorative fan is unscented.
