These are a pair of Mino ware bowls embellished with Kaga Yuzen, which are iconic representations of Japanese kimono artistry. They come in a specially crafted wooden box.

Mino ware has been crafted for centuries in the Tōnō region of present-day Gifu Prefecture. Known as one of Japan’s largest ceramics production areas, it is said to account for about half of the country's ceramic output.
