This is a bright green Nanbu ironware teapot. The interior is enamel-coated, so it cannot be used directly over an open flame.
Nanbu ironware is a traditional craft made in Morioka and Oshu cities in Iwate Prefecture. It originated during the Edo period, inspired by the "tea ceremony" that was popular among the feudal lords. Recently, more colorful designs like this one have become available.
