This Kutani vase is characterized by its vivid colors and beautiful gradience. It was created using “Saiyu”, a technique unique to Kutani. The creator, Hiroshi Shibata has been selected 15 times for the Nitten exhibition (Japan's most prestigious art and craft exhibition) .

Kutani ware, with its unique aesthetic, has retained its value for centuries. This pottery uses red, green, yellow, purple, and navy blue—all beautifully applied to a wide range of designs, from flowers and birds to landscapes, figures, and striking geometric patterns. The skillful brushwork is complemented by the precision of the potter's wheel. Kutani ware showcases the talents of its creators. This piece comes in a special wooden box.
