Folding Screen Shinsa Landscape

屏風 新紗 山水

This is a six-panel folding screen with a simple white background featuring serene landscapes (mountains, flowing rivers, and other natural scenery) painted in the traditional sumi-e (ink-wash painting) style. The artwork is hand-painted by Banba Koshū, a painter listed in the Japanese Art Directory. Since each piece is done by hand, every screen has its own unique character. 

The screen uses paper hinges, so be careful when opening and closing it, as excessive force may cause damage.
